Teresa Schnabel - Founder & Principal
Teresa Schnabel founded DELPHI Consumer Insights in 2002 after close to 20 years in the marketing industry, holding senior positions in client, supplier and consulting companies. During that time, she built a robust tool kit of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, applied to branding, positioning, messaging and new product development. Coupled with her strong strategic thinking, Teresa effectively translates data and insights into her clients' competitive advantage.
At the Home Care Division of the Clorox Company, Teresa designed and managed full-cycle research agenda, from concept development to commercialization, successfully launching profitable line extensions and new products. Previous clients include consumer goods companies, technology companies and biotech companies. Her more recent projects reflect the industry’s increasing interest in targeting minority markets, from companies such as AARP, The Asian American Advertising Federation (3AF), Goldilocks Bakery and Café, Jollibee Foods Corporation, OneWorld Communications, PayPal, The Presidio Trust, Wells Fargo Bank and various San Francisco and California state government agencies. Such projects include in-language qual and quant studies, demonstrating expertise in understanding mainstream and multicultural audiences.
Silvia Leon - Quantitative Research Director
Silvia Leon has worked for a number of leading market research firms, such as NFO Prognostics and Cheskin Research, managing projects for worldwide technology and consumer goods companies. Her previous IT clients include top tier corporations such as Microsoft, Cisco, Novell, Intel, Symantec and Oracle, receiving consistently exceptional ratings from clients' customer satisfaction surveys
Her twelve-year track record in the industry, holding corporate and supplier roles, has demonstrated her proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. At Adobe Systems, Silvia was senior market researcher, managing complex quantitative projects for internal marketing teams. A stint with Procter & Gamble international, Mexico leveraged her strategic thinking and fluency in Spanish to manage research for project teams focusing on branding, advertising and product development. Additional focus on the Latino market at Aguirre International makes Silvia preeminently qualified to be DELPHI's Hispanic marketing expert.
Pam Evans – Data Processing Director
Pam is DELPHI’s data processing guru. She began her career in marketing research initially as a telephone interviewer 30 years ago and has been enamored with the industry ever since. From there, she advanced through different areas of the marketing research spectrum, including writing/checking tab specs, banner design, stats, weighting), data cleaning, validation, recoding, data entry, verbatim transcription/coding/code frame design, survey coding and editing, an expert using a variety of data handling platforms and formats. She possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, focused attention to detail and a passion for quality and accuracy that bring significant value to the DELPHI team. She is concurrently Assistant Director of Operations at American Directions Group in Northern California where she oversees the day to day triumphs and tribulations of a Market Research call center.
